Summer English Camp

For this three-week-long Summer English Camp, facilitators retain a primary focus on English instruction towards increased fluidity and clarity in concise writing and strict observation of the conventions of formal yet functional English.  As a program distinct from the Intensive English Program, the Summer English Camp encourages participants to meet friends from all over the world.  Through this most basic expression of cultural immersion, international students unforgettably recognize the splendor inherent within a global quilt of multifaceted traditions and cultures.  Visits to prestigious universities coupled with surveys of historically fascinating places will serve to remind international students of a precious calling to academic inquiry that not only animates classroom discussions, but also gives people the universal humanity of kindred fellowship to which everyone aspires.  Fun extracurricular activities will offer occasional but necessary breaks in the breathtaking pace of the intellectually themed activities of the Summer English Camp.  Through best buddy systems and constant group-based accountability, instructors of this program have continued to emphasize happy intimacy on every level as prefatory to a successful student experience.
